Gareth Honoured for 30 Years of Dedication

A proud moment was shared in St Asaph in March as Gareth was presented with a Certificate and Gift Voucher by Peter Scott, Mayor of St Asaph, in recognition of an incredible milestone. Peter Scott is the elected Mayor of St Asaph, representing the local community and carrying out civic duties on behalf of the town.

For the past 30 years, Gareth has been litter picking in the local community every single week, helping to keep St Asaph clean and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.

The special presentation celebrated Gareth’s dedication, commitment and the positive impact he has made over the decades. Joining Gareth on the day was his support worker, Tom, as well as the Mayor, who took the time to personally thank him for his years of service to the community.

The occasion was made even more special with a collection of photographs capturing Gareth with the Mayor, carrying out his litter picking duties, and a wonderful throwback image from 1996 when he first started.

Despite three decades of hard work, Gareth still enjoys the role just as much today as he did all those years ago.
